Willie Semones Simmons, 78, passed away Thursday, June 21, 1990, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Archie R. Simmons; one son, Archie J. Simmons, Roanoke; one daughter, Pauleda S. Cox, Christiansburg; three sisters, Reva Steele, Riner; Lala Sorenson, Ethelene Wheeling, both of Olympia, Wash.; one brother, Maynard Semones, Greensboro, N. C.; two grandsons, three granddaughters, six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Spradling officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville Cemetery. the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
