WYTHE BRIDGE LOAD LIMITED DURING REPAIR

Vehicles weighing more than 10 tons should avoid the bridge over Shorts Creek at Foster Falls in Wythe County until the bridge is reinforced, probably by early August.

The Virginia Department of Transportation has placed a 10-ton limit on bridge traffic until the work is completed. During repairs starting in early July, the bridge may be periodically closed to all traffic.
