EMORY AND HENRY HOSTS SUMMER SCHOLARS WEEK

More than 200 students in grades 7-9 are taking part in a one-week summer scholars program at Emory & Henry College that ends today.

The students came from Buchanan, Dickenson, Russell, Smyth and Washington counties, the cities of Bristol and Norton, and Mercer County, W.Va. They took classes ranging from creative writing and archaeology to computers, geology and problem-solving.
