\ Mrs. Ella Taylor Dollar, age 88, of Roanoke, died Saturday in a local nursing home. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Benjamin L. Taylor Sr. and Elijah Theodore Dollar. She was also preceded in death by one son, William Edward Taylor. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Benjamin and Augusta Taylor, Roanoke; one daughter, Dolores Ruddell, Indianapolis, Ind.; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's South Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Charles Briscoe officiating. A graveside service will be held in Wilmington, N.C. at Bellevue Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at Oakey's South Chapel.
