CARDIAC LAB PLANS MID-JULY OPENING

Construction is proceeding on a $1.2 million addition to a cardiac catheterization laboratory at Radford Community Hospital.

The hospital plans to open the lab in mid-July and has hired a third cardiologist, Dr. Craig Barnett.

The Radford Community Health Foundation is raising money to pay for part of the project. It is about two-thirds of the way toward its $95,000 goal.
