U.S. CHORUS IN CONCERT AT ROANOKE COLLEGE

The U.S. National Chorus, a group of 80 singers from across the U.S., is meeting at Roanoke College in preparation for its annual overseas performance tour.

Directed by Stan Kingma, former director of Virginia Tech's New Virginians, the chorus can be seen in its "Bon Voyage Concert" at the Roanoke Civic Center Auditorium July 15 at 7:30 p.m.

Special guests will be Roanoke's Virginia Gentlemen, the Time Was barbershop quartet and the Roanoke Times & World-News' Music for Americans chorus, which performs at Victory Stadium in the annual Fourth of July event.

The show is sponsored by the Vinton Breakfast Lions Club. Tickets are $7 and can be reserved by calling 342-0400.
