OBIT FLINCHUM, F.

Mrs. Frances Irene (Renie) Long Flinchum, age 59, of Salem, passed away June 26, 1990, at a local hospital. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Salem. She is survived by her husband, Herman L. Flinchum; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Joseph Williams, Wytheville; a son, David L. Flinchum, Salem; two grandchildren, Laura Christen and Matthew Brian Williams; a sister, Juanita Roye, Vinton; two brothers, Richard Long, Fincastle; Leonard (Bucky) Long, Merritt Island, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Bethel Baptist Church, with the Rev. R. Stuart Carlton officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at the John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem.
