COLES, WILLIAMS TWINS TO PARTICIPATE IN CLINIC

Former Virginia Tech star Bimbo Coles and former VMI guards Ramon and Damon Williams headline the players who are expected to participate in a Richard Morgan Basketball Clinic at the Roanoke Athletic Club on Saturday.

Morgan also expects to have former Hokie and current Charlotte Hornets guard Dell Curry on hand.

Coles and the Williamses will help instruct players from age 8-16 during the four-hour clinic. Other instructors scheduled to appear are Morgan, the former Virginia guard; former Texas guard Lance Blanks; former Virginia Commonwealth forward Phil Stinnie; former Virginia forward Bill Batts, and Brent Johnson, a former member of the Meadowlark Lemon Shooting Stars.

The clinic begins at 8 a.m. The cost is $25 for RAC members and $35 for non-members. Registration is at the RAC and at all CMT Sporting Goods stores.

An exhibition by the instructors, which begins at noon, is open to the public. - Staff report
