\ Mrs. Porta English Walker, age 89, of Roanoke, died Tuesday, June 26, 1990. Mrs. Walker was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, A.G. Walker, and one daughter, Winifred Anne Walker. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Geraldine and John Earman, Woodbridge, Va.; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; one sister, Alice Burnett, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30, 1990 at 12:00 noon at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel with Dr. Harry Y. Gamble officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel Friday from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
