DIABETES FOUNDATION CHAPTER WINS AWARDS

The Roanoke Valley chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation received the Premier Chapter award for the second time at the recent annual conference of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International.

The chapter also won the Thanks for Giving award in recognition of its television special, co-sponsored by Cox Cable Roanoke.

Roanoke Valley is grouped with chapters submitting more than $100,000 in one year for the foundation's research projects.
