According to Commonwealth's Attorney Everett Shockley, Harvey broke into the home of Glenna Horton in March. Harvey had known Horton for some time and went to her home because he learned that another man was inside the house watching movies with her.
Shockley said that after Harvey broke into the house, he beat Horton's companion, David Brumagin, with a stick. Brumagin was treated at the hospital, receiving nine stitches, Shockley said. Harvey also had 11 months of a previously suspended jail sentence revoked because of the recent convictions.
