OBIT MCCLAUGHERTY, V.

Virginia Lewey McClaugherty, age 90, of Belspring, passed away Saturday, June 30, 1990. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert B. McClaugherty Sr., and two sons, Herbert B. McClaugherty Jr. and Nelson E. McClaugherty. She was a member of Belspring Baptist Church for 57 years. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Andrew L. and Mary T. McClaugherty, Belspring; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Leece, Tazewell; Mrs. Mike Cunningham, Plant City, Fla.; three grandchildren, Winona Hughes, Anna Gale Sarver and Andrew W. McClaugherty; four great-grandchildren, Angie Sarver, Shalee Vines, Michelle Hayes and William Andrew McClaugherty. Services will be held Monday, July 2, 1990, at 11:00 a.m. at Belspring Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Clark and the Rev. Joe McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in Birchlawn Memorial Park in Pearisburg. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Belspring Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the Seaver-Sanders Funeral Home in Radford.
