RENEAU, JAMES A.\ James A. Reneau, age 89, of the 3100 block of Elliott Avenue, Portsmouth, died Saturday in a Portsmouth hospital. He was a native of Jefferson County, Tenn. and was the husband of Effie May Reneau. He was a retired electrician for Planters Manufacturing Company in Portsmouth and was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Besides his wife he is survived by one daughter, three sons, one sister, and nine grandchildren including Cecil H. Reneau Jr. of Riner, Va.; also 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Sturtevant Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Highland Baptist Church, 3701 Deep Creek Blvd., Portsmouth, Va., 23702.
