COLE, SUSAN\ Miss Susan Cole, age 79, died Saturday, June 30, 1990, at Hermitage Methodist Home, Richmond. She was a native of Chilhowie and had taught in the Smyth County public schools a number of years before moving to Bowling Green where she was a home economist with the Extension Service of Caroline County with 27 years of service. She was a member of the Bowling Green United Methodist Church. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Edith Sutterswaite, Mariposa, Calif.; also six nieces, two nephews, several great-nieces and great-nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery near Chilhowie with the Rev. Jeff Wright officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Lebanon United Methodist Church, Bowling Green United Methodist Church, or Emory and Henry College. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday at the Williams Funeral Home.
