SKYCAPS SHOULD BE TIPPED

BEING A frequent flyer out of Roanoke, I can't believe the people who use the skycap services and fail to show their gratitude by tipping.

The skycaps do not work for the airlines, as people believe. They work for a lot less than minimum wage and depend on tips. Unlike at big-city airports, the skycaps do not solicit for tips, but should be taken care of by the flying public without asking.
