LENIENT SENTENCE FOR ATTORNEY

A FEDERAL judge in Roanoke has agreed with the lawyers of a wealthy Southwest Virginia attorney that he should be released from a federal pentitentiary after only serving three months of a very lenient sentence, 15 months. The charges included laundering drug money and being accessory after the fact to drug-smuggling.

No wonder there is little or no progress in stopping drug-smugglers and dealers in the United States. These crybabies go out and break the law. But when they are caught, because of their money or who they know, they serve little or no time. This is a travesty on justice.
