OBIT BLEVINS, M.

Minerva Blankenbeckler Blevins, age 78, passed away Saturday, June 30, 1990 in Laporte, Colo. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Douglas (Emma) Whitt, Laporte, Colo.; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Powers and Mrs. Edith Barlow, both of Chilhowie; three brothers, Byron, Robert and James Blankenbeckler, all of Chilhowie; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Radford with Pastor Edward Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Chilhowie. In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions be made to the First Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, 1820 Second Street, Radford, Va. 24141. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Seaver-Sanders Funeral Home in Radford.
