The work site is at the intersection of Virginia 787 and Rock Road, continuing .1 mile south.
Construction will take approximately 45 days. During that time, the old road will be torn out and a new one will be built at a safer angle with the intersection.
The work is part of the Virginia 177 and Rock Road re-construction project in Radford, which is being supervised by the Virginia Department of Transportation.
