Mrs. Ruth M. Funk, age 83, of Roanoke died Monday. Surviving are three sisters, Jean Comer, Roanoke; Edna Stiff, Vinton; Margaret Meade, Orlando, Fla.; one son, Jim Funk, Youngsville, N.C.; two grandchildren, Deborah Davidson, James L. Funk; three great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 1:00 pm. Thursday. The Rev. Byron Wilkerson will officiate. Interment will be private. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
