OBIT SHELTON, M.

Miss Mary M. Shelton of Roanoke, died Tuesday in Greenville, N.C. She was a retired school teacher with the Roanoke City School System having 50 years of service. Miss Shelton was a member of First Christian Church. Surviving are her nieces, Anne Briley of Greenville, N.C.; Mary Jane Huneycutt of Bluemont, Va.; a nephew, John M. Shelton of Washington, N.C.; several cousins; one great-niece, Elizabeth Briley Winstead. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Fairview Cemetery, the Rev. James Rivers will officiate. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday.
