OBIT SUMMERS, D. RICHMOND

Mrs. Dorothy C. Summers, of Richmond, died July 5, 1990, in her home following a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, Harold C. Summers; two daughters, Mrs. Rufus G. Coldwell, Jr.; Kathy Summers Rice; one son, Barry L. Summers; two sisters, Mrs. Kathleen Ulisse; Mrs. Irene Lupini, all of Richmond; one brother, Woodrow Chewning of Atlantic City, N.J. Her remains rest at the Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Avenue where the family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthews Episcopal Church with the interment in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to Caritas (Richmond Shelter for the Homeless).
