Mr. Ollie James McClure, age 86, died Wednesday, July 4, 1990, at his home. He was a retired Botetourt County merchant and a member of the St. Mark's United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane McClure Henderson. He is survived by his wife, Ruth S. McClure; one son and daughter-in-law, James Lynn and Loretta McClure, Salem, Mo.; one son-in-law, John R. Henderson, Frederick, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Robert L. (Opal) Morrison, Troutville; two granddaughters and one grandson-in-law, Stacy and James McDonald and Laura McClure; two grandsons, Darryl Henderson and Gregory Lynn McClure; three great-grandchildren, Robbie, Jamey and Holly McDonald. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7, at 2:00 p.m. at the Rader Troutville Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Gene Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those wishing to make memorials please consider the St. Mark's United Methodist Church or the Troutville Rescue Squad.
