OBIT HAMLET, I.

Ivan Boyd Hamlet, age 58, of Phenix, died Thursday, July 5, 1990. He held a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry and Wildlife Management from V.P.I. & S.U. He was a partner in Hamlet & Yagle Forestry Consultants and a member of the Charlotte County Board of Supervisors. He is survived by his father, Hughie H. Hamlet; one sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Bill Green, all of Phenix; one nephew and his wife, Billy and Donna Green; one great-nephew, Trip Green, all of Brookneal. The family will receive friends at the Browning Funeral Home, Keysville, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday or other times at the home of Joyce and Bill Green. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Midway Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
