NOLAND CO. RAISES ITS DIVIDEND RATE

Directors of Noland Co., a Newport News-based distributor of plumbing, heating and other equipment, raised the company's annual dividend rate from 44 cents a share to 46 cents per share.

A quarterly payment at the new rate of 11.5 cents a share is payable July 26.
