\ BUENA VISTA - James Marion Floyd, Jr., age 76, died July 5, 1990, in a Charlottesville hospital. He was born in Rockbridge County, September 21, 1913, the son of the late James M. and Mary Southers Floyd. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Thacker Floyd. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Ninita Ramsey, Buena Vista; one son, James M. Floyd, III, Buena Vista; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Virginia Bunch, Virginia Beach; Mrs. Doris Briggs, Ridgeway; one stepson, Lee Hardy, Buena Vista; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Harris, Columbus, Ohio; Mrs. Catherine Roadway, Mrs. Grace Mutispaugh, both of Buena Vista; two brothers, R. Henry Floyd, Joseph Floyd, both of Buena Vista; 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Lomax Funeral Chapel, by the Rev. Glenn Wright. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery.
