\ SPEEDWELL - Shirley Musser Brewer, age 53, died Thursday night. She was born in Smyth County and was the daughter of Herbert and Virginia Musser. She is survived by her husband, Charles S. Brewer; one son, David S. Brewer; one daughter, Lisa L. Brewer, all of Speedwell; one brother, David Musser of Atkins, Va.; one sister, Mildred Delp of Bristol, Tenn. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Crockett Tabernacle Church conducted by the Rev. Richard Collins. Entombent will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens in Rural Retreat. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Gillman Funeral Chapel. Gillman Funeral Chapel in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangments.
