\ TROUTVILLE - Mr. John E. Kingrey, age 62, of 3943 Fairfield Lane, died Friday, July 6, 1990, at his residence. He was a Naval veteran of World War II and was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Powell Kingrey. Surviving are two brothers and sisters-in-law, Elbyrne and Betty Kingrey, Roxboro, N.C.; Joe and Kitty Kingrey, Graysonville, Md.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ruth and Glenn Robertson, Roanoke; Marjorie Whitfield, Staunton; also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the Arrington-Bussey Chapel 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Kenneth Butterworth officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
