BRISTOL PLANS DATE FOR INDUSTRY APPRECIATION

The Greater Bristol Chamber of Commerce and the Bristol First Community Development Program have set Aug. 20 as the area's fifth annual Industry Appreciation Day.

"It's a way Bristol can publicly demonstrate appreciation for the overall contributions that our industries make to the area," said Mike Hilton, coordinator for the event.

Activities will include golf and tennis tournaments, an awards ceremony, entertainment and a dinner.
