PULASKI POUNDS BURLINGTON 9-3

Pulaski pitcher Brian Bark struck out nine en route to his first victory as the Braves dumped the Burlington Indians 9-3 Friday night in Appalachian League baseball.

Hector Roa was 4-for-5 with four singles, Troy Hughes had two hits and five RBI and Jimmie Pullins had three hits and three RBI for the Braves.

Dave Williams (2-0) will start tonight as Pulaski (12-4) visits Martinsville to face the Phillies.
