ATTISANO-SMICK

Regina Anne Smick and Joseph Alan Attisano of Blacksburg, Va., were married May 19 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Baltimore. The Rev. Richard Mooney of Blacksburg officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Russell E. and Evelyn T. Smick of Jarrettsville. She graduated from North Harford High School, the University of Maryland and Virginia Tech with a doctorate in education. She is an instructor in the agriculture technology program at Virginia Tech. Leonard C. and Connie Attisano of Blacksburg are parents of the groom. A graduate of Marist High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, he is an engineering draftsman in the facilities, planning and construction office at Virginia Tech.

Matron of honor was the bride's sister, Laura S. Perdue of Jarrettsville. Michael A. Attisano of Blacksburg was his brother's best man. The couple will make their home in Blacksburg.
