/ Mrs. Nellie Elizabeth Duncan Baldock of Roanoke died at her home. She was the widow of Rawley Mundy Baldock and was an active member of several educational organizations. She was a member of The Reserve R.O.A. (Retired). She was past Pres. of The Va. Ladies Clubs of U.S.A., a member of The Roanoke Rose Society, Roanoke Womens Club, Roanoke Valley S.P.C.A., Roanoke Symphony Society, Southwest Va. Opera Society and other local clubs. Surviving are 3 sisters, Miss Ann Duncan; Miss Wren F. Duncan, Wilkesboro, N.C., Mrs. Vern D. Moser, Lewisville, N.C., sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary C. Duncan, Wilkesboro, N.C.; nephew, William M. Duncan, Jr., High Point, N.C.; niece, Mrs. Beth D. Bates, Winston-Salem, N.C.; several great nieces and great nephews, sister-in-law, Miss Lillian Baldock, Lynchburg; brother-in-law and wife, Dr. Russell Baldock and Martha, Oak Ridge, Tenn. and nephew, William Henry Baldock, Lynchburg. There will be no visitation and it is requested that flowers and donations be omitted. A private burial service will be in Lynchburg. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
