WHITENACK, JOSEPH M.

\ Joseph M. Whitenack, age 66, of 5310 Woodbury Street, N.W., died Saturday, July 7, 1990. He was a member of and treasurer of Belmont Baptist Church. He was an accountant with Kennett & Kennett CPA Firm and was a member of Taylor Lodge No. 23, A.F. & A.M. He was a member of the Virginia Society of Public Accountants and was an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Sallie E. Whitenack; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathy Whitenack Atkins and Scott R. Atkins, Troutville; Rebecca A. Whitenack, Roanoke; one granddaughter, Kendall Leigh Atkins; two nephews, Leo Whitenack, Floyd; William J. Eanes, Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 9, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas S. Cribb and the Rev. John W. Fox officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Masonic rites by Taylor Lodge No. 23, A.F. & A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Belmont Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
