\ WYTHEVILLE - Ralph Miller Dixon, age 79, of Wytheville, Va., died Friday, July 6, 1990, in the Wythe County Community Hospital. He was born in Wythe County, a son of the late George W. and Laura Kincer Dixon. He was a retired employee of the Virginia Department of Highways and a member of the united Lutheran Church. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Blanche Porter Dixon; three sisters, Rozella D. Mills and Maude D. Riggle, both of Wytheville; Geneva D. King, Crockett, Va.; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the United Lutheran Church with Pastor Gary E. Kelly officiating. Interment will be in the King's Grove Cemetery. The family suggests that those who prefer may make memorials to the United Lutheran Church Fund, c/o Mary Vaught, Rt. 1, Box 22, Speedwell, Va. 24374. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
