BUSH'S PROMISES GO UNFULFILLED

I HAVE watched President Bush's lips for two years, and he hasn't proven himself according to his campaign promises. He said "no tax increase," and some voters swallowed this hook, line and sinker.

Gov. Dukakis told the truth in his campaign and said that taxes would be raised.

Also, Bush said the Boston Harbor was filthy and shameful. Two years later, this environmentalist president has done nothing to correct it.

We have a Reagan holdover (all talk, no action, vetoes and cutbacks). Bush traded the store off to "Gorby" to satisfy the Russians, not the Lithuanians.
