PAINTER, WILLIAM L., SR.\ William Lawrence Painter, Sr., age 62, died Monday. He is survived by his wife, Loraine Orange Painter; three daughters, Jean Peery and Kathy Guerra, both of Buchanan; Clara McCullough, Asheville, N.C.; one son, Billy Painter, Jr., Buchanan; two brothers, Adrian Painter, Chilhowie; Dalton Painter, Buena Vista; four sisters, Lorene Bowers, Portsmouth; Carnell Rock, Penhook; Marion Shafer, Natural Bridge; Margaret Gilmer, Harpers Ferry, W.V.; four grandchildren, Laurie, Kevin, Lisa, and Ricky. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 11, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. in Roaring Run Cemetery with the Dr. W. L. Crane, officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Radar Funeral Home, Buchanan.
