WHEELING, ROSA M.\ Mrs. Rosa Mills Wheeling, age 96, of Knollridge, Salem, died Sunday in a Roanoke hospital. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Avalea M. Duncan, Salem; three sons, James V. (Mike) Mills, Goodview; Howard C. Mills, Roanoke; Irvin L. (Bud) Mills, Shawsville; four stepchildren, Kathleen Musselman, Salem; Edna Wheeling, Ethel Wheeling, Edith Wheeling, all of Christiansburg; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 10, at 10:00 a.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Burrell Baker officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fort Lewis Rescue Squad or your favorite charity. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel after 12:00 noon Monday.
