BLAZE AT WOODBRIDGE APARTMENTS INJURES 14

Fourteen firefighters were treated for injuries, including heat exhaustion and smoke inhalation, after a four-alarm fire at a Woodbridge apartment building Monday, officials said.

Lt. Dale Finney of the Woodbridge Fire Department said nine families were displaced by the fire, which was reported about 2 p.m. None of the residents of Bayview Apartments was injured.

Prince William County Assistant Fire Chief Robert Sharp said the fire caused about $500,000 damage.
