\ ROCKY MOUNT - Mr. G. Wayne Cox, age 72, of Rocky Mount, died Tuesday, July 10, 1990 at the Franklin Health Care Center. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Christine Dudley Cox of the residence; three daughters, Mrs. Jane Williams of Covington, Ga.; Mrs. Sally Harvey of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and Mrs. Helen Webster of Charlottesville; one sister, Mrs. Joyce C. Stanley of Camden, Del.; six grandchildren, Alan Williams, Scott Williams, Susan Howard, Julie Walters, Bill Fields and David Fields; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Rocky Mount Baptist Church by Dr. Joe R. Bryant. Interment will follow in the Franklin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to the memorial fund of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home of Rocky Mount.
