\ Richard L. Johnson, Sr., age 56, of 546 Marshall Ave., S.W. passed away Tuesday at his residence. He was a Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict; and is survived by two sisters, Doris Wingfield, Mildred Beheler; a daughter and son, Elizabeth and Richard Johnson; a granddaughter, Miranda Bryant; and a girlfriend, Joyce Wheeling, all of Roanoke. A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 noon Thursday from Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with Rev. Frank W. Feather officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
