\ CALLAWAY - Mr. Mack Edward Brizendine, age 80, of Route 1, died Tuesday, July 10, 1990, in the local hospital. He was retired from Valleydale Meat Packers. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy (Mrs. B.) Brizendine; two daughters and sons-in-law , Brenda and George Hodges, Rocky Mount; Pat and Hopie Thurston, Vinton; four sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Nancy Brizendine, Robert and Helen Brizendine, Glenn and Lucy Brizendine, Douglas and Charlotte Brizendine, all of Roanoke; twenty grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Florence Bryant, Roanoke; three brothers, Odell Brizendine, Blacksburg; Robert Brizendine, Salem; Carl Brizendine, Roanoke; one sister, Mrs. Clara L. Lincoln, Roanoke. Funeral services will be conducted at the Arrington-Bussey Chapel 11:00 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Curtis English officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home, Rocky Mount.
