HORNETS SCHEDULE EXHIBITIONS

The Charlotte Hornets have scheduled seven exhibition games before the 1990-91 NBA season, including two games at home and appearances in Chapel Hill and Norfolk, Va.

The Hornets open their exhibition schedule Oct. 12 at Norfolk's Scope against Dallas, then play Philadelphia at the Smith Center in Chapel Hill the following night. Charlotte plays at home Oct. 19 and 20, against Orlando and Miami, respectively.

Charlotte's final three preseason games are Oct. 25 against Minnesota in Rochester, Minn., and Oct. 27 and 28 against Portland, in Portland and Eugene, Ore., respectively. - Staff report
