SALEM SCHOOL BOARD RE-ELECTS OFFICERS

John I. Moore and June H. Long were re-elected chairman and vice chairman of the Salem School Board on Tuesday night.

Moore has been chairman since 1982. Long was elected vice chairman that same year.

Also re-elected during the board's reorganization were Betsy Light as clerk. Superintendent Wayne Tripp was elected as deputy clerk.

Light has held her position since 1980.

The board also appointed Michael Bryant, director of administrative services, to represent Tripp in his absence.
