\ Ruth Coulbourn Davies, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday evening. She was born in Somerset County, Md., on April 12, 1891, and was the widow of Herbert Arthur Davies. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Francis C. Dillon, Jr., Roanoke; eleven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from the graveside, Evergreen Burial Park, at 11:00 a.m. Friday with Rev. Deborah Hentz Hunley officiating. The family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Roanoke Public Library. Friends may call at 2401 Avenham Ave., S.W. Arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
