\ NEWPORT - Mrs. Lucy Echols Huffman, age 94, died Wednesday, July 11, 1990, at Montgomery Regional Hospital in Blacksburg. She was the widow of Stanley A. Huffman, Sr. and was the oldest member of the Level Green Christian Church. Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Stanley A. Huffman, Jr. and Doris H. Huffman, Blacksburg; three grandchildren, Jane Huffman, Blacksburg; Stanley Huffman, III, Charlotte, N. C.; Frank Huffman, Alexandria, Va.; one great-granddaughter, Allison Huffman, Charlotte, N. C. Funeral services will be Friday, July 13, 2:30 p.m. at Level Green Christian Church. Mr. Jack Ford will officiate. Interment will follow in the Ross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Simmonsville Fire Department, in c/o of Bryan Lipes, New Castle, Va. 24127. The family will receive friends Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home in Blacksburg.
