OBIT--OBENCHAIN, R.

OBENCHAIN, RUBY P.\ Ruby Pearl Obenchain, age 79, formerly of Jamison Ave., S.E. died Wednesday in a local nursing home. She was a former employee of the American Viscose and a retired employee of People's Drug Stores. She was the widow of Thomas Lewis Obenchain. Surviving are one son, Donald Lewis Obenchain, Roanoke; three grandsons, Donald Lynn Obenchain, Roanoke; Ronald Lewis Obenchain, Charlotte; Rick Kevin Obenchain, Greensboro; one sister, Vertie H. Heptinstall, Roanoke; and one brother, Raymond Holland, Rocky Mt. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 12:00 noon at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel with Dr. Harry Y. Gamble officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's, Roanoke.
