\ ROCKY MOUNT - Mr. Roy Glenn McGhee, Sr., age 71, of 513 Scuffling Hill Rd., died Wednesday, July 11, 1990. He was the son of the late Roy B. McGhee and the late Pearl Ingram McGhee. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Vera Perdue McGhee of the residence; one son and daughter-in-law, Roy G. and Peggy McGhee of Martinsville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia M. and Marvin Webb; Vickie M. and Lonnie Barbour all of Callaway; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one sister, Marie Austin of Waidsboro; four brothers, Monroe McGhee; W.A. McGhee; Harold McGhee; and Wilson McGhee all of Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Chapel by the Elder W. Lane Carter. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday at the Arrington-Bussey Funeral Home of Rocky Mount.
