LIFESTYLES TODAY KILL MANY SPECIES

WE HAVE evolved into a society of images and personalities of commercialism and hype. The lifestyles of 20th-century man have wiped away hundreds of species of life, while the destruction of the rain forests promises to eradicate even more. Perhaps that of ourselves as well.

We continually consume our planet's resources as a gluttonous horde, assuming that it will forever bear the fruits of survival. Assume nothing.

It is written that there will be an end to things. The legacy for the future inhabitants of our world depends upon the attitudes and choices we now make. As a people balanced on the threshold of extinction, it is imperative that we ensure the survival of all species, including our own. We are, after all, just another link in the chain.
