PLANE WITH ONE ABOARD APPARENTLY CRASHED

Authorities searched rural Prince George County today for a single-engine plane believed to have crashed in bad weather while en route from North Carolina to West Virginia.

The single-engine craft, with one person aboard, was believed to have gone down around 6:30 p.m. Thursday near Disputanta, said Gilbert Lee, Prince George County's emergency services coordinator.
