\ BLACKSBURG - Katherine Marie Vanhoosier, age 63, died Saturday, July 14, 1990, in a Salem hospital. She is survived by five sons, Edward Earl Vanhoosier, Riner; Ralph L. Vanhoosier, David A. Vanhoosier, both of Christiansburg; James W. Vanhoosier, Blacksburg; Michael Wayne Vanhoosier, Newport; two daughters, Betty V. Barlow, Roanoke; Helen V. Moses, Christiansburg; one half brother, Rudolph Bowers, Roanoke; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Monday from the Alleghany Church of Christ conducted by Mr. Porter Riner with burial in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call Sunday at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home. The family will receive friends there from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday evening. Arrangements by Richardson-Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg.
