OBIT-STANLEY, A.

\ Alfred N. Stanley, Sr., age 71, of Roanoke County, died Saturday, July 14, 1990. Mr. Stanley had retired as manager of Colonial Ice Company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II. Surviving are his wife, Dimple S. Stanley; three sons and daughters-in-law, Alfred N., Jr., and Joyce Stanley, Staunton; Dennis W. and Claudia Stanley, Salem; Jeffrey S. and JoEllen Stanley, Roanoke County; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and Albert Cupp, Sr.; Bonnie and Arvil Glovier, all of Roanoke; three brothers, Eugene Stanley and Roy Stanley, both of Roanoke; Leonard Stanley, Delaware; three sisters, Helen Duncan, Betty Saul and Lorraine Luther, all of Roanoke; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 16, with the Rev. David A. Yingling officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
